El Aparato

I acquired the landmark album Ré by Café Tacvba at the beginning of this year, but hadn't really listened to it until yesterday.. Well.. being that the album came out almost 10 years ago, I feel so behind.. In particular, the song "El Aparato" haunted me all yesterday. I still have not fully translated it, but it is about an eerie UFO encounter that seems to change the victim (and one of his friends?).. It reminds me of when the Heaven's Gate news story came out.. Anyways.. I guess I am ready to admit that I am becoming something of a Rock en Español fan.. if only my wife would join the bandwagon..

My brother called me last night at what was 1:47 a.m... He said that his commercial has been spotted on MTV, and should be on MTV, VH1, and some other stations of that ilk (ESPN, too, I think..) until I think he said the end of August..
